Insurance Matters

I am in-network with most insurance companies. Dietitian services are covered by many insurance plans however, I strongly encourage you to contact your insurance carrier prior to your appointment to verify coverage.

When calling your insurance company, find the following recommendations helpful to use:

Verify if your benefits

*Some insurance companies do not cover nutrition services unless you are diagnosed with specific conditions or as part of a wellness plan.

Document your call! Get the agent’s name, reference number for the call and the date/time you spoke with them.

Once insurance is billed, I cannot provide a discounted cash pay option. I am legally bound to my contract with the insurance companies and will have to bill the patient or responsible party for the “Patient Responsibility” amount.

If you have already reached your benefit maximum or you do not have insurance (or coverage for nutrition services) I have discounted cash pay options. All discounted options will be charged to the card on file and are only available on initial date of service. Please contact the office for available options.

Testing

I use Rupa Labs and Express labs (previously Cole Diagnostics) for testing. We will work together to assess for any testing needed or desired. Prices vary depending on testing recommended.
