Andrea came to Boise in 2018 by way of Cheyenne, Wyoming where she worked as a clinical dietitian in the local hospital. As she counseled patients in the clinical setting it became clear that the impact was not long term as many hospital-bound patients are mainly focused on the “quick fix” vs long-term lifestyle changes for optimal health. After moving to Boise, she has been pursuing her passion in private practice dietetics. Her passions include celiac disease, IBS, SIBO, Crohn’s, Colitis and other subsets of IBD, gastroparesis, NAFLD, food allergies and sensitivities, women’s health/hormone health, weight management, T2DM, heart disease, and sports nutrition. Andrea enjoys solving complex digestive issues using a client-centered approach. She is both personable and practical when providing treatments and interventions for optimal health and wellness for her patients.
In 2019, Andrea was trained and certified in the FODMAP diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome by Monash University. Andrea is the first dietitian to have this certification in the state of Idaho. Additionally, she is certified as a personal trainer and Certified Sports Specific Trainer by the American Council of Exercise allowing for a unique wholistic approach to nutrition and overall health and well-being.

with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences- Dietetics.
She takes a whole-body approach, understanding that all aspects of our health are interconnected. As many symptoms have overlap between underlying imbalance, she uses careful listening and analysis of signs, symptoms and labs to unlock optimal health and help minimize impact of disease states.
Kristin started in the clinical and outpatient hospital setting, but by way of personal experience learned that optimal health and healing went beyond the scope and way she was currently practicing. Her paradigm started to shift when she experienced IBS and found complete healing
through the functional nutrition lens of testing and addressing the specifics to her gut microbiome health. This sent her on a journey of exploring holistic functional practices and finding that her story was not a solo incident. This dove her into pursing specialized training from Integrative Functional Nutrition Academy and Next Level Functional Nutrition to deepen her knowledge on holistic, whole body nutrition. This has expanded her horizons and allowed her to practice in a more complete and life transforming way.
She has a specific passion for gut health and GI conditions, chronic fatigue, woman’s hormone health, food allergies and sensitivities, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, T2DM, heart disease, and weight management. She is also a NCSF certified personal trainer, so is able to use this background to provide a comprehensive health approach.
Kristin has a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful school-aged children. She grew up in the Midwest but found herself drawn to the mountains. She loves the outdoors, and enjoys running, hiking, camping and skiing.
